Thursday, May 26, 2011 during the Family Outreach Program 10 Year Conference Event Bridgette Metteaux, Abbott Family Worker for Alberta Bey and Greater Abyssinian was a recipient of the “Shining Star” award For Outstanding Service to Children and Families in the Family Outreach Program.

The Office of Early Childhood first “Preschool Teacher of The Year” awardees. Please join us in congratulating two of Newark Preschool Council's exemplary teachers who personify the best practices and dedication to pedagogy that will move us forward as we strive to meet the goal of the strategic plan to prepare our students to be “ready to learn by kindergarten“.
